Overview
Job Description
To Participate in the Testing and Quality Assurance of software implementations for new and existing projects. To Join a Test Team responsible for delivering testing across multiple systems and business processes. Core responsibilities comprise: -
Test Analysis
* Participating in Analysis of Requirements\Design documentation
* Creating Test Scenarios\Cases from Requirements\Design documentation
* Working with Delivery teams to understand the steps required for Test Execution
Test Execution
* Smoke Testing of Test Environments in readiness for Test Execution
* Executing Test Scenarios\Cases as per the agreed Test Plan
* Raising of Issues\Queries in the Defect Management Tool
* Participation in Defect Triage
* Re-testing of Defects
Client Support
* Ensuring Client Test Environments are available
* Supporting the resolution of Client Queries\Issues
Required Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive and enthusiastic to learn new methodologies and systems
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Collaborative approach
* Team player
* Ability to work on own initiative
* General experience in the financial sector, preferably Life and Pensions industry
* Previous Experience\Participation in a Testing Phase of a Project
Desirable Skills
* Experience with MS Excel, including with Excel formulae
* Experience with Databases and SQL
* Experience with API Testing Frameworks
* Experience with Environment Support
