Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Software Developer and Test Engineer. This individual will be impacting the software organization at Apple to ensure that we continue to provide top-notch OS releases to various organizations within the company and eventually a healthy and stable OS release to our customers.
* Investigate defects found in the OS submission pipeline to identify culprits;
* Triage issues and route them to the correct team using a variety of debug methods;
* Develop and improve the submission process as it relates to test/triage/debug;
* Develop tools and tests that aid in triaging test failures and contribute to the test infrastructure;
* Build software products to implement efficiencies, automate testing, and debugging,
Responsibilities:
* Analyze complex problems relatedto build pipelines, provide solutions through robust hands-on approach including coding,maintenance,&&improvement of processes,.
* Demonstrate expertise with scriptinglanguages (Python, Perl,Bash), experience with native builds,Objective-C,C++, Docker,r&rKubernetes/Salt/Ansibleis highly valued.
