Building Services EngineerBuilding Services Engineer required for a Tier 1 Main Building Contractor to work on major residential and data centre projects in the Dublin area. This role would suit a Building Services Engineer with 3+ years' experience looking to take the next step in their career with one of Ireland's most respected contractors. We are ideally looking for someone with experience working on large-scale building projects, preferably with a contractor or consultancy background.Role:• Coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services installation on-site from pre-construction to commissioning• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth service integration• Review drawings and technical submittals to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards• Support the project team with resolving design or installation issues• Assist in commissioning and system handover• Attend regular site meetings and report on progress• Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives where possibleRequirements:• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or similar• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience – ideally with exposure to large-scale residential or data centre projects• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, standards, and installation methods• Experience working with main contractors or consultancies preferred• Knowledge of BCAR, TGD, and relevant Irish building regulations• Good communication and coordination skills• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office – knowledge of BIM/Revit a plusSalary:• €65k–€75k• Market-leading benefits packageIf you are a Building Services Engineer considering a career move, please feel free to send your CV or contact Declan Hasson for a confidential discussion.
