As a Senior Consultant at Nucleo, you will be scoping new Client opportunities, managing key Client relationships, leading large-scale programme delivery, and coordinating resources across programmes.
This is a client-facing role, and we are seeking a Senior Consultant who is highly motivated, able to adapt quickly to changing environments and work under pressure.
We are looking for people who have strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for business expansion and propose innovative solutions.
Collaborate with the Leadership team and Business Development Manager to support business development efforts.
Participate in client meetings, proposals, and presentations to showcase the organisation's capabilities.
Stay updated with industry trends and market demands to drive business growth.
Responsible for owning and managing client relationships with senior stakeholders.
Understand client requirements and develop clear value proposition for how Nucleo can support.
Develop scope with a costed solution and present to Clients.
Manage client expectations throughout the engagement.
Lead programme delivery and stakeholder management
Oversee the successful execution of client projects and programs.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client expectations - working with a client-facing team to deliver solutions with tight timelines.
Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence.
Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies - understand project scope and managing changes to that.
Implement effective project management methodologies and best practices.
Be adaptable and flexible, able to adjust plans, scope, and resources as needed to accommodate evolving client requirements or unforeseen circumstances.
Effectively manage the business transition, ensuring business as usual is maintained during the transition period and changes are effectively integrated.
People Development and Resource Management
Actively mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and competencies.
Encourage a learning culture within the team by promoting training and development opportunities.
Provide constructive feedback and support career growth for team members.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, helping them grow professionally and achieve their full potential.
Ensure each member of a team understands their role and responsibilities - effectively assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree in business, project management, data & analytics, or equivalent experience.
Extensive relevant consulting experience.
Experience in a people management position.
Experience in project managing IT/Systems implementation delivery projects is desirable (e.g., IBM Maximo or similar asset management systems).
Experience in utilities sector is desirable.
Project management and planning experience.
Data migration and data analysis experience.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Experience working and managing cross-functionally across delivery streams.
