We are a leader in the Irish market with Air Source Heat Pumps and VRV Air Conditioning technology, and offer a comprehensive portfolio including chillers, air handling units, refrigeration condensers, and heating systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer for the Residential Team, you will:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers (merchants and heating installers) in the Leinster region.
* Identify market needs and propose tailored HVAC solutions to drive sales.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
* Report regularly on activities, insights, and performance to management.
* Execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue potential.
Department Overview
The Residential Team at Daikin Ireland serves as the primary contact for all the sales of all residential product and solutions. You will be responsible for driving residential product sales within your assigned territory, reporting directly to the Residential SBU Manager.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We're looking for someone who brings a blend of technical know-how, commercial acumen, and customer-centric mindset:
* Degree or diploma in engineering, business, or relevant HVAC experience.
* Results-driven with a strong focus on lead conversion and budget tracking.
* Solution-oriented with a proactive mindset.
* Clear, confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
* Organised, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Positive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); SAP CRM knowledge is a plus.
