We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimise all aspects of production at our clients state-of-the-art manufacturing facility (Healthcare Products). The role offers the opportunity to drive efficiency, quality, safety and compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across what is a highly regulated, quality focused manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business goals.Operations & Team Management: Lead, coach, and manage the operations team, ensuring an optimized organisational structure and a robust people management system.Site Leadership: Play a key role in the site leadership team, contributing to site-wide projects and initiatives.Production Performance: Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning to maximise efficiency.Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing improvement measures as needed.Safety & Risk Management: Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce robust safety programs.Inventory & Cost Control: Optimize inventory levels, manage budgets, and drive cost-effective operations.Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to achieve business objectives.What We're Looking For:10+ years of experience in Operations Management within a high volume/highly automated manufacturing environment.Strong background in world-class manufacturing environments, utilising TPM, Six Sigma, and SAP.Expertise in injection moulding, automated assembly equipment and packaging machinery is highly desirable.Knowledge of utility operations (compressors, chillers, dust extraction) is an added advantage.Familiarity with Quality processes such as Process Control, Change Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Validation.Proven leadership experience, with a track record of driving performance and cultural change.Continuous Improvement mindset (CI certification desirable).Degree in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
