Job Overview:
As a Utilities Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of utility systems within our Biopharmaceutical organization based in Dublin. This position is ideal for professionals seeking to join a leading multinational that sets the standard in its industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical expertise on Utility Operations & Maintenance throughout the lifecycle of projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of key outcomes to support seamless handover to Operations personnel.
2. Establish and maintain high-quality maintenance standards to drive safe and dependable operations through a focus on Reliability Excellence.
3. Review vendor reports and documentation, ensuring timely closure of Work Orders within the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
4. Ensure all Utility systems comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including EPA licensing, GMP/cGDP standards, EHS policies, and Global Engineering and Construction directives and procedures.
5. Collaborate with the Critical Utilities Operations and Maintenance team to optimize the performance and reliability of Critical Utility equipment. This includes enhancing plant operations, maintenance programs, SOPs, and risk assessments.
6. Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within Utility systems, applying effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
7. Oversee service delivery and foster strong relationships with service providers, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Procurement, and global functions.
8. Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits as required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
1. A Bachelor's degree (Level 8) or Master's degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline.
2. Experience providing technical support in a live facility setting.
3. Experience in operating and maintaining Utility systems within a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility is highly desirable.
4. In-depth knowledge of Utility system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.
5. Solid understanding of process design, GMP standards, maintenance practices, and relevant industry regulations within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
