Position: Clinical or Counselling PsychologistLocation:Rathfarnham, Dublin 16Contract:Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours/week)Reporting to:Clinical DirectorWere recruiting on behalf of a respected mental health service provider in South Dublin. This organisation offers specialised inpatient care for adults with complex neuropsychiatric conditions, including Alzheimers, Parkinsons, Huntingtons Disease, early-onset dementia, schizophrenia, and mood disorders. It is the only facility in Ireland offering advanced care for Huntingtons Disease.The service is delivered through a multidisciplinary team using evidence-based, recovery-oriented approaches. Key Requirements:
Essential:
* QQI Level 8 degree in Psychology (PSI-accredited)
* Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (Dept. of Health validated)
* Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
* At least 60 days supervised clinical experience in adult mental health
Desirable:
* Experience in adult mental health or psychiatry of later life
* Familiarity with mental health rehabilitation
* Training in CBT (including for psychosis) and other modalities (e.g., DBT, family therapy)
* Clinical supervision experience
* Hospital-based experience and people management skills
