The Role
TCS seeks a highly skilled and experienced Resilience Engineer who will be responsible for technical analysis of Applications and Services by comparing application designs to defined patterns, ensuring defined templates are adequate to produce increase resilience, recommending changes to design patterns as required, coordination with technical teams, identifying and tracking issues identified during the analysis.
Additionally, you will contribute to and analyse Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documents, ensuring all possible findings are documented, tracked and followed to resolution.
Key responsibilities
* Communicate resilience requirements with IT application owners and evaluate applications and services against application resilience architecture design patterns and resilience requirements.
* Identify and implement simplification and automation opportunities to enhance resilience processes.
* Help develop ITSCM’s processes business impact analysis, plans, status reports, and other documentation to ensure clear, correct, complete, reporting to executive leadership.
* Administer DR applications and tools.
* Recommend and implement changes to the application resilience architecture standards and requirements.
* Partner with ITSCM leadership to assist in the review of identified issues, including priority, potential impact and risk assessment of identified resilience gaps.
* Track, review and report resilience metrics.
* Participate in post incident reviews to analyze RCA data to ensure all findings are identified.
* Develop training material for IT application owners and conduct training on use of the Resilience Assessment process.
* Determine risk and remediation for identified resilience gaps and report to business and technology leaders.
* Implement, maintain and support DR tooling, including the Resilience Assessment methodologies.

Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree
* Preferred Fields of Study: Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Cybersecurity, Emergency Management
* Extensive relevant experience delivering technical analysis and review
* Extensive Cloud Engineering experience
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
* Proficient in ServiceNow with experience with Snow BCM module
* Knowledgeable of global infrastructure landscape
* Knowledgeable of information security, resilience, and disaster recovery methodologies
* Experienced with various cloud platforms and technical designs including high availability environments
* Knowledgeable of emerging infrastructure technologies
* Understands how to connect technology strategy to business strategy
