Business Development Manager – Ireland (Field-Based)
Location: Dublin + Nationwide Travel (Driving License needed)
Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 and Plus extra OTE 30,000-40,000 + Benefits plus company car
We are partnering with a leading European distributor of data cabling and network infrastructure solutions to recruit a Business Development Manager for their growing Irish operation.

The Role
This is a field-based, external sales role focused on developing new business opportunities and building relationships across the Irish market.
You will spend approximately 3 days per week on the road, meeting electrical contractors, consultants, and partners across various regions. The remaining time will be based from the Dublin office.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities across Ireland
Build and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, consultants, and partners
Promote and support the specification of key product lines
Drive sales growth across commercial, industrial, and data centre sectors
Contribute to commercial strategy and market expansion
Track pipeline and activity through CRM systems
Provide market insights and reporting to the Sales Director

Candidate Profile

3–5+ years’ experience in electrical, data networking, or technical sales
Strong knowledge of the Irish electrical contractor market
Experience working with channel sales / distribution models
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Full driving license (essential)

Technical B2B sales within infrastructure / construction
