Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in accountancy, managing multiple clients and delivering comprehensive financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Financial Management: Prepare and review year-end accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Tax Compliance: Handle VAT returns, self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax computations, and ensure all submissions comply with HMRC regulations.
* Financial Support Services: Assist Clients with bookkeeping services, including bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and cash flow management.
* Strategic Business Advice: Provide expert advice to clients on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
* Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their financial needs.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency improvements, both internally and for clients.
Required skills include proficiency in accountancy software such as Xero, Quick Books, or Sage, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. The candidate should also have up-to-date knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax legislation, and compliance requirements.
