Assistant Manager – Ballina, Tipperary Excel Recruitment is excited to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Store Manager for our client's store in Ballina, Tipperary.This is a fantastic opportunity for a retail professional to support the Store Manager in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the store while maintaining high standards of customer service, team performance, and operational excellence.Salary: €35k – €40k DOE – 42hr working week Responsibilities:Take an active role in the daily operations of the store, ensuring all areas are running smoothly
Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating a team to meet sales targets and achieve business goals
Oversee merchandising and upselling techniques to maximise sales and profitability
Ensure the store maintains high standards of customer service, providing a positive shopping experience for all customers
Manage inventory and stock control to ensure product availability and accuracy
Foster a positive working environment, mentoring and leading by example
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practicesRequirements:
Previous experience in a convenience store or supermarket management role
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
