Neuromed Clinic is currently seeking a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist to join our growing team at our Galway clinic. This is an onsite position offering a varied and rewarding caseload, including both general adult mental health and ADHD assessments. You will be working within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments
Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment recommendations
Undertake ADHD assessments where appropriate
Prepare clear, high-quality clinical documentation and reports
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Maintain the highest standards of clinical care and professionalism
About You
Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Irish Medical Council
Specialist registration in Psychiatry
Experience in general adult psychiatry
Experience or interest in ADHD assessment desirable
Strong communication and report‑writing skills
A patient‑centred, compassionate approach to care
