Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Practice Operations Director to lead the day-to-day administrative operations within a busy General Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of daily operations to ensure efficient running of the practice.
* Establishment and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols.
* Liaison between GPs, Nurses, Administrative and Reception staff to foster collaboration and teamwork.
* Staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision.
* Financial oversight, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
* IT systems and internal communications management.
* Patient feedback and complaints handling in a professional and compassionate manner.
* Adherence to principles of confidentiality, privacy, and data security.
* Ongoing compliance with statutory, legal, and healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
Excellent leadership, organisational, IT skills required. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. In-depth understanding of Irish healthcare system, particularly GMS scheme and HSE processes. Ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and patient-first mindset.
