Financial Administrator Role
Our team is seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our ranks. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining Insurer ledgers for current and aged claims. This will involve identifying errors in claim packs and taking proactive steps to resolve them in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with patients, consultants, and staff queries efficiently and professionally. You will also be required to manage Consultant files, ensuring that paperwork is chased and received in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Reviewing patient claim packs for accuracy and completeness, obtaining any missing information as required.
* Identifying claims with errors that cannot be submitted to insurers and taking proactive steps to resolve them in a timely manner.
* Daily scanning and submissions of patient claims to relevant insurers in accordance with their cut-off dates.
* Managing Consultant files, ensuring that paperwork is chased and received in a timely manner.
* Resolution and resubmission of any VHI returns that come back as quality errors.
* Weekly reconciliation of claims submitted to each insurer and filing of claim submissions.
