Role Summary:

As a Talent Acquisition & Engagement Assistant you will support the T&E Team with the recruitment and employee engagement across the Brand.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of hiring processes, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.

Your focus will be on attracting high-quality candidates, coordinating recruitment activities, and supporting engagement strategies that drive retention and performance.

You will work closely with hiring managers and the T&E team to meet HR KPIs, ensure compliance with company standards, and deliver a positive candidate and employee experience.

Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders through clear, consistent, and professional communication will be key to your success in this role.

Role Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

* Responsible for providing best in class candidate experience throughout the recruitment & the onboarding process.
* Support with the execution of the LSS resourcing plan ensuring business capability is maintained, and delivery of business objectives are achieved through timely and suitable appointment of talent
* Partner with our leadership teams to identify, attract and hire the best candidates for the Brand
* Consistently grow the candidate pipeline, filling it with high caliber candidates through multiple sourcing channels
* Leverage various resources to source qualified candidates using job boards, social networks, associations, universities, formal/informal networks etc.
* Update and compile benchmark based on knowledge of market, as well as industry trends
* Assist in compiling reports, make recommendations on continuous improvement efforts, track effectiveness of sourcing methods
* Devise innovative ways of sourcing talent
* Work with hiring managers to prepare for and facilitate interviews and feedback provision – act as a trusted advisor and guide on ways of working and recruitment guidelines, and provide expertise where required
* Maintain and update applicant tracking system
* Prepare contracts and offer documentation ensuring compliance with internal process
* Liaise with recruitment agencies and external partners as needed
* Support T&E Manager to set recruitment KPIs, report on these regularly and recommend initiatives to address any issues.

Employer Branding & Engagement

* Ensure LSS is positively represented on key talent attraction social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor & Indeed among others
* Manage the candidate experience through the recruitment lifecycle to a high standard of customer excellence.
* You will bring consistency in online posting by bringing fresh ideas for engagement initiatives and own the Brand internal engagement calendar
* Support the Retail Operations Team by driving talent acquisition, engagement and training in stores

Learning & Development

* Keeping up to date with product launching and updating the L&D Platform to drive product knowledge within the Store Teams
* Own and action the Onboarding Tracker
* Support the scheduling of onboarding meetings
* Champion our values and Brand culture
* Support the T&E Team with training of store teams from onboarding to bespoke training sessions

Key Requirements:

* Third level qualification in HR or a Business-related discipline
* CIPD qualified or working towards same
* 1 year experience in Recruitment or HR generalist role
* Experience of working in a variety of sectors; retail preferable
* High standard of computing skills including Microsoft Office
