Job Title: Events Manager (Maternity Cover)

About the Role:
We are currently looking to recruit an events manager to fill a maternity cover contract. This role is Monday-Friday based with occasional evening hours. (Hybrid working model)
Role Responsibilities:
·Development, production and delivery of the Chambers event programme
·Management including process improvement of online event management system and CRM
·Delivering events on time, within budget, and in line with set KPIs
·Setting, communicating and keeping timelines and priorities
·Communicating, maintaining and developing speaker relationships
·Managing supplier relationships
·Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to junior staff
·Travelling to on-site inspections and project managing events
·Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish
·Ensuring excellentcustomer serviceand quality delivery
·Conducting post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved)
·Other Chamber activities as needed
Person Specification:
·Event Management experience or qualification desired,or relevant work experience (Minimum 3-4 years)
·Ability to manage multiple, events simultaneously and deliver 1 st class client service
·Proven track record in, creating, producing and delivering events, across a broad selection of clients
·Can effectively manage, lead and mentor
·Ability to effectively manage senior client relationships – up to c-suite level
·Excellent presentation, communication and project management and reporting skills
·Commercial acumen with strong business development skills
·Excellent negotiation skills with clients and suppliers
·Professional attitude and image
·Strong interpersonal skills
·Flexible approach to working hours
·Desire to learn and adapt
