Job Title: Site Contractor Safety Coordinator
This role requires a professional with extensive experience in managing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) aspects of construction contractor operations.
* Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating contractor prequalification and requalification questionnaires, as well as supporting HSE documentation.
* The ideal candidate will oversee the Contractor Management Portal (CMP) system and provide guidance to client representatives and contractor companies on its requirements.
* They will collaborate with client representatives to review and approve task-specific method statements and risk assessments.
* The successful candidate will consult with client representatives to determine the scope of work for each contractor and establish appropriate training requirements for HSE induction.
* They will confirm that contractor companies are HSE qualified to work on-site and that individual contractors have current SOLAS Safe Pass cards, manual handling training, and other relevant task-specific training.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
