Your new role
Your new role is to be based in Eastwall on a large development that consists of 5 residential blocks and surrounding infrastructure. There are several months remaining on the project and this position is to be paid on an hourly basis.
You are tasked to lead and oversee hardscaping and landscaping work on site from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, technical know-how, and a passion for creating high-quality outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise daily site operations for residential/commercial landscaping and hardscaping.
2. Coordinate and direct field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
3. Read and interpret project drawings and specifications
4. Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met
5. Maintain site safety and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
6. Communicate with clients and project managers to provide updates and resolve issues
7. Troubleshoot technical or logistical challenges as they arise
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, it is important that you have p roven experience in landscaping and hardscaping construction, in a supervisory capacity.
8. Strong understanding of materials, installation techniques, and site preparation practices
9. Ability to read blueprints and schematics
10. Excellent communication and leadership skills
11. Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive work ethic
What you'll get in return
In return for the above, you will work for one of Ireland's leading building contractors with exposure to some large-scale, high-profile projects.
You will initially work on an hourly rate, which will be beneficial to earnings (typically 45–50 hours per week). This hourly rate depends on relevant experience and if you are paid either as a PAYE worker or self-employed individual.
These hourly brackets are typically between €35:00 and €50:00 per hour. This would be €80-100k+ based on a salary.
