Procurement Specialist
Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills? We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
* We are responsible for procuring stock inventory materials, components, and packaging in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* We ensure that all necessary documents are up-to-date and audit presentable, adhering to compliance standards.
* We maintain supplier records, send setup forms, and analyze returned documents for completeness.
* We implement checks on current records to ensure audit compliance.
* We place purchase orders according to established policies and procedures, including any returns.
* We follow up on supplier purchase orders and generate regular supplier forecasts.
* We manage supplier relationships, interacting with suppliers and customers via telephone, email, and meetings.
* We assess supplier performance based on established metrics and procedures.
* We manage purchasing specifications, generating specifications, uploading approved documents, and filing same.
* We prepare documentation for reporting at regular Supply Chain meetings, evaluating supplier performance and reliability through formal reporting with defined metrics of Quality, Delivery, and Performance.
* We support new site projects as a Supply Chain representative, managing the critical path and ensuring key dates are met, highlighting any issues to the project team/manager.
* We support Finance and other internal departments with queries.
