My client are a collaborative and leading Accountancy Practice based in Kildare.
They are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Accountant to the team.
This is a pivotal role for a qualified accountant with broad experience in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and client advisory, who is looking to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a diverse client portfolio and contributing to the strategic growth of the practice, with a clear long-term opportunity to progress to partnership.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of SME and corporate clients across various industries.
Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
Oversee corporation tax, VAT, and income tax compliance and planning for clients.
Provide strategic and commercial advice to clients, including business structuring and succession planning.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal systems and processes to improve efficiency.
Support partners in business development and client relationship management.
Contribute to the long-term vision and leadership of the firm, with a view to becoming a partner.
Key Requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA) with a minimum of 57 years practice experience.
Strong technical expertise in financial reporting and Irish tax legislation.
Demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships.
Experience in managing or supervising staff.
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
Commercial mindset with a genuine ambition to take on a leadership role within a progressive firm.
