Hours: 40 hours per week, Full time

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare professional to join our team as a Quality and Compliance Specialist.

The primary function of this role is to participate in the design and implementation of audits in collaboration with the Compliance Manager.

This involves carrying out audits, setting and reviewing action plans for improvement, monitoring and reporting on regulatory compliance, leading and participating in quality improvement projects, and contributing to the development of data and information capabilities.

Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date electronic data on compliance/quality improvement programmes, providing reports from analysis and monitoring of data, and identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

You will also be responsible for compiling reports, delivering training and coaching in the operation of systems and processes, mentoring and coaching community teams, coordinating the implementation of new systems and structures, undertaking stakeholder engagement and surveys, and ensuring that all relevant compliance policies and procedures are in place.

Policies will be reviewed within set timeframes, and you will be responsible for updating and amending service provision policies when necessary.

You will work closely with the Line Manager to ensure that all policies are up-to-date and accessible.

A key aspect of this role is to raise safeguarding or serious non-compliance and risk issues to the Head of Services immediately.

You will collaborate and coordinate with other support functions in the development, implementation, and reporting on compliance issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Hold a primary degree in Social Care, ID Nursing, Psychology, Behavioural Support Specialist, or another relevant field.

A specific qualification in Quality Management and relevant experience in auditing and using quality systems would be beneficial.

Candidates must possess the competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.
