Residential Disability Services in Waterford
In partnership with our client, we are now looking to a Person in Charge for residential disability services in Waterford.
Our client is a community-based service that supports children and adults with severe/profound intellectual disabilities. They cater for the abilities and specific needs of those they care for to ensure they receive the best possible service.
The role involves providing the highest possible standards of support to those who use our clients' service. The ideal candidate would preferably have experience working with autism.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the Person in Charge for existing services ensuring compliance with Department of Health Regulations and HIQA Standards.
* Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure delivery of high-quality services.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote excellence in care.
Requirements:
* A professional degree (min level 7) in Social Care or relevant qualification. Qualification in Nursing is considered.
* A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care.
* Level 6 Management qualification (this can be done once they start too so no major pressure, however it is preferred).
* Experience of report writing, personal support plans, people and roster management.
