You will play a key role supporting large-scale messaging platforms that underpin critical enterprise applications, working within a collaborative engineering environment.What You’ll Be DoingInstalling, configuring, and administering messaging queue managers in Linux environmentsManaging queues, channels, clustering, listeners, and high-availability configurationsMonitoring messaging platforms and troubleshooting queue depth, channel failures, and performance issuesSupporting and maintaining secure messaging environments including certificates and encrypted communicationsTroubleshooting production and application issues related to messaging platformsPerforming capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery testingSupporting event-driven messaging platforms and broker technologies from an infrastructure perspectiveContributing to automation and operational improvements using scripting toolsWhat We’re Looking For6–8+ years experience administering enterprise messaging platforms in distributed environmentsStrong experience working within Linux systemsKnowledge of messaging platform architecture, clustering, and performance optimisationExperience with monitoring tools and system performance analysisFamiliarity with scripting or automation tools (Shell, Python, or Ansible)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsNice to haveBasic SQL knowledgeExposure to automation tools such as JenkinsExperience supporting event-driven messaging or broker platforms
