Semi-State Role
Your new Semi-State organisation operates nationwide, covering 31 local authorities and collaborating with construction developers and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include integrity management of project information for strategic asset delivery, supporting development management planning referrals, and providing GIS capabilities for spatial analysis.
* Development Management: Support referral activities, enhance planning processes, and facilitate stakeholder engagement.
* GIS Capabilities: Offer spatial insights to inform asset management decisions and integrate with statutory planning frameworks.
* Strategic Planning: Contribute to growth planning, forecasting, and ensuring timely reporting.
* Planning Applications: Provide support on referrals received from Local Authorities, Water Services, and Planning Authorities.
* Expert Advice: Offer guidance to Local Authority Water Service Engineers on preparation of observations/submissions.
* Correspondence Management: Manage incoming correspondence and data on planning matters.
* Process Improvement: Support the team in formulating, implementing, and refining processes related to regulatory requirements and company objectives.
* Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate delivery of Strategic Housing Development, Strategic Infrastructure Development, Planning Appeals, and compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree in Spatial/Urban Planning or a related field.
* Minimum 4+ years of post-graduation experience in a similar position, ideally with prior utility industry experience.
