8-12 hour nights. Role of Registered Nurse is to provide safe, quality person-centred care to a client within their own home environment. The successful candidate will be part of nurse-led care team and will have support from local clinical supervision team, reporting directly to the CNM.
Responsibilities
* Provide evidence-based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client's care plans based on the needs identified.
* Prioritise the needs and comforts of the child.
* Work closely in partnership with family members.
* Promote the recognition of the client as an individual and demonstrate kindness, compassion and respect.
* Be committed to the care and concern of client.
* Work within their Scope of Practice NMBI (2015).
* Adhere to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and Midwives (2015).
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse on live register of NMBI.
* Community based nursing experience is desirable but not essential as relevant training will be provided.
