We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong payroll experience who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The role can be offered on a 4-day-per-week basis if preferred. You will play a key role in ensuring that our payroll processes run smoothly and accurately, supporting both salaried employees and hourly-paid temporary agency workers.
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be onsite in our Sligo office two days per week. Key Responsibilities: Process payrolls for salaried staff and temporary agency workers (weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly).Handle timesheet and clock card submissions, including adjustments for overtime, bonuses, shift allowances and other variables.Manage payroll administration for temporary employees joining and leaving the business.Process payroll deductions.Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations (PAYE, PRSI, USC, LPT, BIK).Respond to employee and client payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.Perform benefit-in-kind (BIK) calculations and processing.Calculate and report on annual leave.Submit payroll files through online banking platforms.Provide payroll support to Consultants and Managers across the business.Draft and issue employment contracts for temporary agency workers.Key Requirements: A payroll qualification (e.g.
