Quality Control Engineer Pay:€40,000.00 per year Job description: Roles and Responsibilities 1. Quality Assurance & Control Develop, implement, and oversee quality control systems for electrical components and systems used in Air Handling Units (AHUs) and other HVAC products. Conduct detailed inspections and testing of electrical assemblies to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations (IEC, NEC, UL, ISO, etc.). Verify wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and control panels against approved design documentation. Perform incoming inspections of electrical materials (relays, contactors, sensors, cables, etc.) and ensure supplier quality adherence. Execute final inspections and functional testsincluding power-up, continuity, grounding, and insulation resistance checksprior to dispatch. Identify and document non-conformities, support root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). 2. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records, test reports, and QA documentation in alignment with audit and compliance requirements. Prepare and support the submission of quality-related documentation for internal reviews and customer audits. Regularly update inspection standards, work instructions, and quality procedures to reflect the latest practices and findings. 3. Compliance & Safety Ensure all quality assurance activities adhere to relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and workplace regulations. Participate in internal and external audits, assisting in the implementation and follow-up of corrective actions. Promote and support Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives across the production and testing facilities. 4. Technical Support and Collaboration Collaborate closely with production teams, design engineers, and R&D departments to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes. Provide structured feedback to engineering teams for design and product improvements. Offer hands-on technical support for troubleshooting electrical problems during manufacturing or final testing. 5. Software & Tools Utilization Operate electrical testing equipment and software tools (multimeters, continuity testers, PLC diagnostic tools, etc.) for comprehensive inspection and validation. Utilize Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ERP platforms to record inspection data, manage non-conformities, and track performance metrics. Perform configuration or programming validation on control systems, VFDs, PLCs, and BMS interfaces when required. 6. Continuous Development & Learning Stay informed of emerging trends in electrical quality control, testing technologies, and regulatory standards. Adopt modern software and digital tools for design review, test automation, and digital twin simulations. Engage in professional training on advanced electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN), QA/QC systems (SAP QM, ETQ), and smart manufacturing platforms. Contribute to digital transformation projectssuch as IoT-based monitoring systems and intelligent testing solutionsto enhance operational efficiency and product reliability. Key Skills Required In-depth understanding of electrical systems, standards, and codes applicable to HVAC manufacturing. Strong experience in quality assurance and control processes, testing methodologies, and inspection techniques. Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing electrical drawings, control schematics, and circuit documentation. Familiarity with QMS, ERP, and compliance tracking software tools.
