Role Overview
* Reporting to: Person in Charge
* Contract Type: Relief
* Location of Work: Co. Kildare & Co. Laois
Role Responsibilities
* Facilitate and encourage decision-making, independence, and personal development.
* Provide support in daily living skills, including personal hygiene, health and appearance.
* Work in a person-centred manner to meet individual care plans and goals.
* Adhere to policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice
* Administer and document the dispensation of prescribed medication.
* Undertake key worker responsibilities, helping service owners achieve goals.
* Document and report incidents and complaints involving staff, service owners or visitors.
* Work with MDT to achieve the goals of service owners.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum Level 5 qualification in Healthcare or equivalent.
* Hold a full Irish driving license
* Prior experience in social care or healthcare.
* Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
* Excellent verbal and writing skills.
* Garda Vetting/Police Clearance
