Education/Experience:
* Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
Computer Skills:
* Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation
Certificates and Licenses:

Responsibilities
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Summary: Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines. Ensure quality patient care, including treatment, supervision of rehab techs (if applicable), and case management. Maintain professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist patients in improving their functional abilities under the supervision of a licensed OT
* Develop and enhance the occupational therapy assistant program
* Improve clinical and management skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
* Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed about professional and healthcare issues
* Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery modes to provide quality care within guidelines
* Follow infection control and safety protocols
* Read, write, speak, and understand English for instructions, documentation, and communication
