The Panel is working on a retained basis with an Investment Manager, who is part of a large European group, to source an experienced and responsible CEO/Country Head for Ireland. The firm has funds in Ireland and is now looking to establish their own AIFM here. The successful individual will oversee the operations and resources in Ireland as well as lead the development/growth of their newly established AIFM service offering. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong regulatory knowledge/experience and the ability to drive business growth while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory obligations.

, fulfilling responsibilities associated with assigned managerial functions in accordance with Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) requirements.
* Prepare and deliver periodic reports to the Board and to group-level stakeholders, as required by the assigned managerial functions.
* Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and ensure timely incorporation of regulatory changes into business practices.
* Act as the primary point of contact for legal, audit, and other administrative functions in Ireland.
* Facilitate the integration of the Irish business within the group, ensuring alignment with group strategies and initiatives.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of engagement, mentorship, and high performance.
* Continuously enhance and evolve the company's internal processes and procedures to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
* Support the group in their investment management activities.
The candidate:
* Proven leadership and people management abilities, with over 10 years of experience in the funds/investment managment industry, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
* Deep understanding of the asset management industry, with strong technical expertise in AIF and UCITS structures and investment strategies.
* In-depth knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) regulatory frameworks and requirements applicable to fund management companies.
* Previous experience acting as a Designated Person, ideally in investment management, demonstrating a sound understanding of governance and regulatory responsibilities.
