The Facilities Electrical Technician is responsible for performing routine reactive and preventative building maintenance tasks.This can include tasks in one or more fields for example, carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, carpentry and fabric repairs. Delivering day to day support to ensure the smooth running of our facilities service providing exceptional customer experience within our Client sitesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Work collaboratively with the on-site facilities team to ensure planned reactive and preventative tasks are completeResponsible for operations of M&E equipment (e.g. UPS, CRAC, generator, BMS,, Power Distribution System, Air-conditioner in Office, Fire Alarm System, Water protection system and Drainage Systems) to ensure compliance with HSE and statutory requirementsSupervise maintenance work executed by Vendors to ensure safe and quality works are deliveredProvide a first line fix and competency in terms of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, kitchen power issuesPerform fabric related repairs including handyman repairs, painting works, problems with conference rooms, interior furnishings, fixtures and equipmentConduct quality audits including furniture and equipment on a regular basis, logging all issues, ensuring actions are completed on time and in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA)Complete daily checks inline with the delivery of committed servicesWork closely with contractors and vendors on a regular basis, conducting risk assessments and following safety protocols, ensuring compliancyWork with the internal Task system to keep track of all requested facilities work and close out actions according to Service Level AgreementsProvide appropriate and timely follow-ups to colleagues and customers in emails, task systems, social posts and face to faceWork collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and service focused approachMake recommendations to leverage innovations whilst utilising technologies for the Client where required to improve site performance and maintenance practicesWork as part of the multiservice team: supporting Facilities as neededWork in accordance with health and safety measures and promote best practice amongst colleagues, contractors and vendorsWork as part of the sustainability drive to reduce utility consumption across the siteWORKING LIFE:On a daily basis you will be working across a large office siteThe main business language spoken in our offices is English. Knowledge of English is essentialThe role will be structured on a shift basis over a 5-day weekOn occasion you may be required to work weekends, late shifts or bank holidays, this will be arranged in advance and in accordance with the rotaOn occasion you will be required to be on call 24 hours a day in rotation with your colleaguesOn occasion you will be required to attend emergency call outs to ensure business continuityYou may be required to work within another site on the contract within the same campus to cover team times off or as a change to the team on a permanent basisABOUT YOU:You have direct Facilities Maintenance experience (Minimum 2 years) in a technical roleYou have an technical qualification and/or trade licenceYou have experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management system for managing Preventative Planned MaintenanceYou can meet tight deadlines and work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team to solve problems with professionalism and service focused approachYou keep up to date with industry trends and have direct experience or an interest in facilities management and customer serviceYou are open and have good communication skillsYou strive for excellence in what you do and share ideas for improvementYou are proficient with Word and Excel and have a keen interest in technologyYou are adaptable to work to requests and projects that may vary from day to day
