Are you a part-qualified ACCA/CPA accountant looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional services firm? This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing corporate services provider, working with structured finance, aviation leasing, and capital markets clients.
About the Role
As a Part-Qualified Accountant, you will join an experienced accounting team and gain exposure to financial reporting, audit preparation, regulatory returns, and SPV accounting. This role offers strong mentorship from senior accountants and the opportunity to develop your expertise in IFRS and local GAAP.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and posting of accounting journals, including accruals & prepayments
* Bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
* Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements under IFRS/local GAAP
* Supporting audit processes and resolving audit queries
* Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Liaising with banks, asset servicers, and external auditors
* Assisting in VAT, corporation tax, and regulatory return filings
* Contributing to process improvements within the accounting team
About you
* Part-qualified ACCA/CPA accountant, actively working towards qualification (within 3 years)
* 9-12 months of relevant experience in an accounting trainee role (practice or financial services preferred)
* Strong knowledge of debits & credits and experience posting general ledger entries
* Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and in a team
