Avonmore Electrical work in the Supply, Installation, Maintenance and Repair of various motors, gearboxes, generators, pumps etc. Avonmore Electrical ’s Engineering Department works hand in hand with the Workshop which services the Water, Wastewater Industry. This department has a requirement for Electricians who will be carrying out onsite works in the Leinster area. This is a job opportunity for a dynamic and competent individual.The PersonWe are seeking fully Qualified Electricians to work primarily in water treatment and pumping maintenance and repair.Due to ongoing works, these positions would ideally suit a someone living in the midlands or Leinster area.Role SpecificationFully qualified Electrician registered with Safe Electric in IrelandHighly competent in perform electrical testing and verifications of electrical installations.Proficient in the repair and maintenance, installation, calibration and servicing of a range of onsite instruments.General SpecificationWorking primarily in water treatment and pumping maintenance and repair.Travel to work sites will be required, sites will be within your geography area (Van supplied).Working diligently to Heath, Safety and welfare standards and procedures.Recording co‑ordinates & photos, completion of forms, paperwork as required.Must be willing to learn new skills and have a positive work attitude.Must be able to work well with others, and on your own initiative.Please note: Due to the nature of the work undertaken, emergency call outs may occur in the evenings/weekends.This list is not exhaustive, and the works will change somewhat in line with work requirements.Key RequirementsFlexible working hours will be required due to the nature of the works.Willing to travel to work sites.Ongoing training and upskilling provided.Full clean Irish B driving licence or European Equivalent is mandatory.Good spoken and written English.Salary on application.The successful candidate will receive on the job training in our processes and procedures.
