About Morgan McKinley
We are working with a fast-growing, Irish-founded consumer brand that is making waves across the beauty and wellness industry. Known for its innovation, quality, and loyal customer base, this brand is expanding its operations into the UK.
The Role
This is a high-impact position that blends technical accounting, project management, and business partnering. You will take full ownership of the transfer of trade from the Irish entity to the UK entity - including structuring, compliance, and systems setup - while also supporting broader finance activities within a small, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the trade transfer from Ireland to the UK, ensuring all processes are structured, documented, and executed smoothly.
* Set up initial accounting systems and processes for the UK entity.
* Liaise with UK Companies House, HMRC, Revenue (Ireland), and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
* Align filing dates across entities and ensure reporting deadlines meet group requirements.
* Support Accounts Payable and Receivable teams in adapting processes and ensuring invoice compliance.
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations and establish clear intercompany accounting processes.
* Partner with budget holders to manage monthly budget reviews.
* Assist in audit preparation and ongoing finance support as needed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with solid experience in cross-border transactions, entity setup, or financial restructuring. You will also have knowledge of UK and Irish tax and regulatory frameworks. As a proactive and hands-on individual, you will be comfortable liaising with external bodies and leading change. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, along with a team-first mindset, are essential.
Benefits
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic brand in a hybrid working environment, initially on a 6-month contract. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on the company's expansion into the UK and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team.
