Overview
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join us as we start our journey to feed more happy dogs across Europe. You will be in charge of managing the operational side of things in the Republic of Ireland - in other words, ensuring our boxes of Butternut meals get safely to dogs (+ their humans) across Ireland.
We are looking for a hard-working, diligent & customer-focused Operations Manager to join us in this exciting part of the journey.
Responsibilities
* Own primary responsibility of the Butternut’s operational performance in Ireland with the aim to deliver a superior experience to our customers.
* Be responsible for managing, improving and scaling our third party fulfilment (order picking and packing) and warehousing facilities in collaboration with the site management team.
* Performance management of our fulfilment and last-mile logistics partners.
* Live and breathe Service Level (On Time in Full). Working to measure and reduce packing and delivery errors.
* Manage our box packing and courier collection forecasts.
* Coordinate import and customs clearance of product from Butternut’s UK site and maintaining accurate stock levels once in Ireland.
* Focussed on customer experience and performance, while maintaining a collaborative approach with our third party site.
* Drive operational proposition improvements for our customers, giving them more convenience or choice about how and when they receive their orders, and what’s available to purchase.
* Work with Operations Managers in other markets collaboratively to execute improvements in service level across all markets.
* Support the whole Operations team in executing new product or new market launches.
A bit about you
* Passionate about being part of a growing business that has a clear mission and sense of purpose.
* Experience of operating in a fast paced, high accuracy operations facility.
* Experience of managing third party logistics partners.
* A self-starter who is happy to roll their sleeves up, and feels comfortable with the uncertainty and ambiguity that comes with a new challenge.
* Fantastic communication skills.
* Analytical skills with SQL experience an advantage.
