We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Administrator/Secretary role in the Roscommon/Ballinasloe region. This month-to-month contract position may be extended upon successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform secretarial and administrative duties, including typing letters and documents, answering telephone calls, and dealing with queries from service users.
* Ensure that all queries at reception are handled professionally and timely manner.
* Liaise between departments with discretion and professionalism.
* Promote and maintain a customer-focused environment, monitoring efficiency of service provided by the team and notifying Line Manager of any deficiencies.
Requirements
* Previous clerical/administration experience supporting a busy department.
* Trained in touch typing (minimum 50 WPM).
* Proficient IT and MS Office skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
* Excellent data processing and attention to detail skills, planning, organising and diary management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in demanding, fast-paced environments.

The post holder may be required to perform other duties as appropriate to the post which may be assigned to him/her from time to time and to contribute to the development of the post while in office.
