Support Worker Role
We provide residential and day services to over 400 adults with intellectual disabilities in counties Louth, Meath and Monaghan.
* To be successful as a Support Worker, you will have completed a relevant QQI certificate at level 5 Major Award.
* You should have previous experience of supporting people with an intellectual disability, particularly those who have a moderate to profound disability.
* A thorough knowledge and understanding of HIQA and relevant legislation is essential.
* In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of behavioural support plans.
* The ideal candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to community inclusion and active citizenship.
* You will attend to residents' personal care and activities of daily living, promoting their participation in the running of their home.
* An excellent communicator is required for this position.
* Flexibility and responsiveness are key attributes of a successful Support Worker.
* A full Clean driver's license is necessary for this role.
