HR Administrator
Specified Purpose Contract, Full-Time (39 hours per week)

Salary Range:
€33,992 to €51,931 per annum
Salary will be based on experience and aligned to the appropriate point on the salary scale.
A 2% sector-wide increase will apply from 1 April 2026.

We are now seeking a HR Administrator to join our HR team supporting a busy and varied HR function with a strong focus on recruitment and administration.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their HR or recruitment career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
About the Role
This is a full-time specified purpose contract with structured handover, and full training provided.
As part of the HR team, you will support day-to-day HR operations with a particular emphasis on recruitment coordination and HR administration. You will work closely with HR colleagues and internal stakeholders, contributing directly to the organisation's ability to deliver high-quality services.
This role would particularly suit someone with an interest or background in recruitment who is looking to build a strong foundation in HR.
Key Responsibilities
General HR Administration:
· Manage employee queries, ensuring prompt and professional responses
· Maintain employee personnel files in line with HIQA standards
· Keep HRIS system (Bizimply) updated and accurate
· Produce monthly headcount reports and support HR metrics reporting
· Manage all leave records and ensure compliance with policies
· Organise electronic and paper filing of HR documents
· Participate in on-site external and internal meetings as required and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary
· Provide administrative support for HR project work as and when required
· Support the HR Generalist and HR Business Partner with additional tasks as required.
Recruitment Administration:
· Support end-to-end recruitment processes, including posting job advertisements, managing applications, scheduling and attending interviews as required, and responding to candidate queries
· Maintain accurate recruitment records and manage applications
· Liaise closely with the HR Generalist on recruitment activities and related HR queries
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
· A third-level qualification in HR, or a related field.
· An understanding of HR policies and employment legislation.
· Previous experience in an HR administrative or recruitment support role.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· High attention to detail and a strong understanding of confidentiality
· Competency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn HR systems
· Full clean drivers licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable
· CIPD membership or working towards same
· Experience managing recruitment processes
· Experience in a not-for-profit, healthcare, or social care setting
