Location
Cluain Mhuire Services is a national centre of innovation in public mental health service provision, delivering a community‑based adult mental health service for the South‑East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of approximately 182,000 people. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.

Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin.
Position
Locum Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist – Full‑time locum contract from 13 th July 2026 until the post is filled on a permanent basis. The consultant will be part of a community mental health team.
Qualifications
Must be on the Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland.
Remuneration
Salary Grade ‘Consultant contract 2023 – Clinical’ on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale, €231,215 – €277,736 per annum pro‑rata.
Initial Work Location
This role is based at Cluain Mhuire, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, and inpatients at St John of God Hospital Stillorgan. The consultant may be required, from time to time, to work at other sites of St John of God Community Mental Health Services or associated organisations. Notice of any change of place of work will be given as reasonably practicable.
