About the role
An established Construction company is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement across multiple projects. You’ll oversee a small remote team, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality sourcing for manufacturing and installation.
Key responsibilities
* Manage and appraise suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
* Negotiate contracts to achieve savings and service improvements.
* Develop procurement strategies aligned with project budgets and timelines.
* Lead a team of three off-site procurement specialists.
* Source materials and services at competitive prices without compromising quality.
* Ensure compliance with policies, industry standards, and regulations.
What you’ll need
* 5+ years’ procurement experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
* Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of procurement in construction.
* Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
* Relevant degree preferred.
