Dornan are currently recruiting for an Electrical QA/QC Inspector to join a Pharmaceutical project in the Limerick region. In this role, you will ensure that all Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) installations are delivered in line with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. You will support inspections, testing, system walkdowns, and turnover activities to ensure a smooth and compliant project handover.
Your day to day will include:
Ensure familiarity with project requirements including contract documents, specifications, codes, and standards.
Inspect Dornan E&I installations for compliance with approved benchmarks (FOK/FIP), design, and project specifications.
Carry out routine quality inspections and record snags or observations.
Manage snagging activities during walkdowns and inspections using snag management systems.
Support and deliver the Benchmark / First of a Kind (FOK) process and sign-off.
Prepare walkdown packs and support system/area walkdowns with the client.
Act as QA owner for allocated turnover scope from construction completion through testing, inspection, and handover.
Review and approve inspection and test records.
Attend quality and commissioning meetings as required.
Compile Electrical & Instrumentation turnover packs and manage as-built documentation including drawings and cable schedules.

Your Experience
Previous experience as an Electrical QA/QC Inspector within construction projects.
Experience working on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, or similar large-scale industrial projects is desirable.
Familiar with walkdowns, snagging processes, and system turnover.
Strong PC competency including Microsoft Office.
Your Qualifications
Third level degree or trade qualification in the Electrical discipline.
Essential
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to review electrical installations against drawings and specifications.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with inspections, testing documentation, and project turnover processes.
