This role is pivotal in driving the delivery of VWFS's strategic and commercial objectives. Reporting directly to the Product & Innovation Manager the Digital Product Owner will have responsibility for the ownership of the current end-to-end digital journeys and the creation of new digital journeys for VWFS to improve our dealers and end customer user experience. The Digital Product Owner will play a key role in gathering and documenting technical and business requirements ensuring robust and efficient processes through effective stakeholder management, ensuring successful integration internally and externally.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Digital Transformation projects from ideation through to implementation.Responsible for developing and maintaining the roadmap for new features and optimisation to drive online sales.Conduct key in-depth business analysis to identify digital opportunities, including business cases, and present for Senior Management approval.Engage and collaborate across departments to ensure all digital journeys and services are seamlessly implemented, balancing business goals and customer needs.Support back-office process automation.Ensure that new digital initiatives are delivered with the best possible customer experience.Provide status updates to ensure deadlines are being met, highlighting risks and issues as they arise.Display continuous learning and curiosity for new digital innovations and their application to our digital strategy.Demonstrate VWFS values and behaviours in your day-to-day work and address behaviour that supports or conflicts with them.Key Role and RequirementsDegree in Business, Strategy, Finance, or a related discipline5+ years' relevant work experience in digital development/product ownership, with a strong understanding of current and emerging trendsCustomer-focused and passionate about delivering the best possible customer experienceProven track record of delivering high-profile, complex projects involving multiple stakeholdersKnowledge of the financial services industry, ideally with experience in a digital role (e.g. product owner)Ability to present and communicate effectively at all levelsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholdersExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt in an agile environmentStrong experience with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelTerms & Conditions:This is a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days a week on site at the Liffey Valley Office.
