Dementia Specific Trainee - Healthcare Support Assistant - Ballinlough, Roscommon
We are recruiting Healthcare Support Assistants within our in‑home respite sitter service / day care. This is a CE placement and a great opportunity for someone looking to return to work, up‑skill and gain further experience working with our elderly clients in a person‑centred healthcare setting.
Accredited training will be provided to support your career, enabling you to achieve a QQI /FETAC Level 5 qualification. Coaching and mentoring will help develop your confidence and competencies.
Duties
Caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease/dementia, assisting with personal care, preparing meals, providing social engagement, stimulating therapeutic activities and delivering person‑centred care to our clients.
Essential requirements: Garda vetting required; car and full driver licence essential. No prior experience necessary.
