Tipperary, PWM operates from a modern 7,000 sq. ft. off-site fabrication facility, with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional quality and expertise, particularly in computerised orbital welding.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Graduate Accounting Technician / Office Manager to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role that will provide experience across finance, operations, quality control, and office administration. It is particularly suited to a recent graduate with strong organisational skills and a keen interest in working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Payroll
* Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
* Record and maintain purchase invoices.
* Process weekly employee payroll.
* Prepare and submit VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns.
* Post end-of-month journals.
Administration & Office Management
* Handle inbound phone and email queries professionally.
* Maintain and update QA/QC documentation (Excel-based data entry and material certification tracking).
* Provide HR administrative support, including employee records and onboarding.
Compliance & Quality Systems
* Assist with the management and monitoring of Health & Safety and Welding certifications.
* Support with ISO9001 and EN1090 quality systems.
* Assist with tender preparation and submissions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Accounting Technician qualification (minimum FETAC Level 6), completed within the last 4 years.
* Bookkeeping and payroll experience (a payroll qualification is advantageous but not essential).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level or higher).
* Comfortable learning and navigating multiple digital platforms.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Professional, confident, and reliable.
