Role: Staff CAD Engineer
As part of the Engineering Enablement organization based in Limerick, this role involves architecting, developing, and maintaining CAD tools/methods used in Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal product development across ADI. The engineer will collaborate with product line leaders and users to define innovative approaches, projects, and products. The individual will lead projects, report on plans and status to management, and possess programming skills and circuit design knowledge to support and enhance EDA tools used by product teams.
Requirements:
* Masters or Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of experience, including leadership roles
* Experience leading successful projects
* Experience in analog and mixed signal circuit design and layout
* Proficiency in circuit simulation tools like Cadence ADE/Spectre, RF simulations, and debugging
* Programming skills in Cadence SKILL, Perl, Python, Shell, etc.; formal software development training preferred
* Experience with PDK or physical verification rules development is a plus
* Strong communication skills for collaboration across global teams
* Proficiency in English
