We are seeking an experienced Production Technician to join our growing Production Department in Dublin.
Job Description
This role primarily focuses on managing the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, working with cutting-edge products used by millions of people daily to tackle complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the processing of field returns (incoming and outgoing)
* Maintain and update data using tools like Google Sheets and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
* Perform functional testing using established procedures
* Accurately document testing outcomes
* Troubleshoot production and customer issues
* Apply fixes or escalate via internal channels as necessary
* Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams and customers
* Coordinate return shipments and monitor tracking
* Prepare quotations for out-of-warranty repairs
* Generate detailed repair reports for clients
* Source materials to support contract manufacturers in case of shortages
* Actively participate in regular production meetings
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* NFQ Level 6 Certificate or Level 7 Diploma in a related field (e.g., Electronics, Electrical/Process Technology, or Manufacturing)
* Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in a production or repair environment
