Senior Events Manager – Part‑time (22.5 hrs/week)

We are looking for a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while working part‑time hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute an annual event strategy aligned with organisational goals.
* Lead planning activities, including budgeting, timelines, and project management.
* Research venues, vendors, and suppliers within Dublin and negotiate contracts.
* Manage all logistics: venue set‑up, AV, catering, transport, hospitality.
* Oversee event registration systems, guest lists, ticketing, and attendee communications.
* Act as senior point of contact on event days, coordinating staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure event objectives are met.
* Manage and mentor junior team members, freelancers, or volunteers as required.
* Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, venues, and industry partners.
* Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.
* Produce post‑event reports analysing attendance, engagement, performance, and feedback.
* Ensure event experiences reflect brand guidelines and high‑quality standards.
* Innovate and improve event formats, guest experiences, and operational processes.
Skills & Experience Required
* 5+ years of professional experience in event management at a senior level.
* Proven track record of delivering successful corporate, public, or large‑scale events.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
* Solid understanding of event technology, platforms, and systems (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent).
* Budget management experience and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work evenings or weekends when events require.
