Plant Manager

Inform3 are recruiting for a Plant Manager to join a busy civils contractor based in Cork who will be responsible for the overall management, operations and repairs.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a successful contractor that is continually growing and has a wealth of experience. The client is seeking a Plant Manager that has knowledge and experience managing a team and Heavy Plant and Machinery.
Plant Manager Responsibilities:
* Report to the Senior Management Team
* Coordinating and supervising the maintenance and repair of mechanical and plant equipment and machinery.
* Liaise with Site teams regarding requirements
* Coordinate the delivery and installation of Plant, Machinery and Equipment
* Ensure all Plant, Machinery and Equipment is tracked and managed effectively
* Complete any light maintenance if necessary and ensure upkeep of plant and equipment
* Review overall labour and material requirements
* Identify parts and replacement equipment and source quotes
* Ensure the plant department operates to the highest standards
* Ensure that all plant and equipment and stock items are issued to sites as required.
* Establish and manage budgets and targets for assigned areas of responsibility
* Attend Senior Management meetings when appropriate
* Repairs, and servicing to large and small plant and machinery.
Plant Manager Specification:
* Plant Management Background
* Experience in repairsand servicing to large and small plant and machinery.
* Batchelors Degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering or related field
* 5 years or more experience in a similar role
* Highly organised and motivated
* Experience with Plant and Machinery
* Able to use Microsoft Office
* Strong technical and diagnostic ability
* Driven and motivated
* Full driving licence
