Responsibilities
Deliver and oversee high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
Lead, supervise, and mentor the care team to ensure best practice.
Provide leadership and support during inspections and audits.
Act as Nurse in Charge, overseeing day-to-day operational management.
Promote a respectful, supportive environment that upholds dignity and wellbeing.
Encourage continuous professional development within the team.
Support management in maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.
Requirements
Must hold an active Nursing PIN
For non-EEA candidates: must possess a valid Stamp 4 visa or be an EU/EEA citizen
Registered with An Bord Altranais (NMBI)
Relevant certifications in Infection Control, Manual Handling, CPR, Medication Management, Safeguarding, etc. (or willingness to undertake training)
Previous experience in a nursing home or similar care setting (desirable)
Demonstrated leadership ability with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing others
Flexible approach to working day, night, and weekend shifts
